I loaded the cartridge into my Macro 5 SLR, pressed the shutter button and let the camera run its motor without ejecting anything. I headed back into the dark room, loaded the photo into a 600 cartridge, put it into a 600 camera to let it eject the photo. I actually tried using alkaline batteries and my instax mini 11 finally worked. (These were actually the free batteries that came free with the camera. Thought they were cheapos that wouldn't last, so I skipped em) The issue was that I tried using rechargeables (NiMH), heavy duty (zinc carbon) and NiCd batteries. All didn't work.
